Job Title: Romanized Hindi Transcription Expert Job Type: Contractor Location: Remote Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Key Responsibilities: • Accurately transcribe Romanized Hindi audio and text data into written form. • Review and correct automated or machine-generated Romanized Hindi transcriptions for accuracy. • Add detailed metadata tags and context-rich annotations to audio and text files. • Ensure consistency, linguistic integrity, and quality across all transcription work. • Collaborate with the customer’s team to align on project guidelines and best practices. • Communicate effectively with project managers and team members, both in writing and verbally. • Meet established deadlines and manage multiple transcription assignments efficiently. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Fluent proficiency in Romanized Hindi (reading, writing, and listening). • Proven experience in transcription, with a strong eye for detail and quality. • Expertise in adding metadata tags and performing annotation tasks. • Ability to review and correct errors in machine-generated transcriptions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating a high level of care and professionalism. • Capability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity. • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle sensitive linguistic data. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber. • Familiarity with large-scale transcription or annotation projects. • Experience working with multicultural or linguistically diverse teams.
